Flood Warning lowered to Flood Outlook for Burnt and Black Rivers
April 11, 2017 - The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry - Bancroft District is advising area residents that the Flood Warning has been lowered to a Flood Watch for the Burnt River Watershed including the Irondale River, the York River Watershed and Black River Watershed due to limited storage capacity and the responsive nature of these river systems.

Flood Watch continues for Kawartha Lakes
April 6, 2016 - Kawartha Conservation continues its Flood Watch for the Kawartha Lakes, specifically the shoreline areas of Balsam, Cameron, Sturgeon and Pigeon Lakes. There continues to be high potential for flooding to occur along shorelines, in near shore areas, and in low-lying areas, as a large volume of water is passing through the Trent River system. High winds and waves can exacerbate the situation on the downwind side of a lake.
