Information Technology

The Information Technology Department is located at City Hall, 26 Francis Street, Lindsay, Ontario and directs the technology infrastructure within the municipality. IT provides quality service in support of Corporate goals by evaluating client needs, encouraging responsible use of technology and acquiring, building, implementing and supporting innovative solutions. Responsible for all aspects of information technology, the IT Division ensures that city administration and operations have a robust, stable and secure infrastructure, with continuous network availability, and stable business applications. Annual business plans provide IT with the basis to assist and direct business units to aid them in realizing their business objectives through the use of technology.
