Kathleen Seymour-Fagan - Ward 13
I am a Toronto-born business woman who spent her childhood at the family cottage on Sturgeon Lake, where I met and later married my husband Mike Fagan.
I have a post-secondary education in Arts Management from the world-renowned Harris Institute of the Arts which enabled me to open and run a multi-faceted music production company, which took me all over the world, eventually settling in the United Kingdom.
I moved to Minneapolis so my husband could attend Northwestern Life Sciences for his Doctor of Chiropractic and while there I retrained as a Shiatsu Therapist and ran a successful clinic for four years.
In 2001, after my husband completed his Doctor of Chiropractic we moved to Dunsford to start a family and open Village Chiropractic. After 10 years we sold the practice so Mike could attend medical school, following in the footsteps of his late father to work as the village physician.
In 2005 I opened Kawartha Coffee Co. in downtown Bobcaygeon and have twice been nominated for the prestigious RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Award and won Outstanding Business Achievement from the Chamber of Commerce.
Today my husband and I, along with our sons Liam and Aidan, live in Ward 13.
Definition of Ward 13
