The City will be holding public information sessions and a statutory Public Open House to provide the opportunity to review and ask questions about the draft Official Plan in an open house format.

March 22, 2017 - At the March 21 Council meeting, Council passed By-Law 2017-053 to decrease the municipality's wards from 16 to 8. This follows Council's decision in October of last year to reduce the size of Council from 16 Councillors and a Mayor to 8 Councillors and a Mayor. Changes will take effect in the 2018 election.
March 23, 2017 - Initial work begins today in Lindsay on the site of a new complex being built by the City to accommodate affordable housing units and corporate office space.
