Draft Official Plan Info Sessions
The City will be holding public information sessions and a statutory Public Open House to provide the opportunity to review and ask questions about the draft Official Plan in an open house format.

Thursday, September 17 at 7pm, Omemee Coronation Hall
Wednesday, September 23 at 7pm, Coboconk Community Centre

February 22, 2017 - There’s lots going on in Kawartha Lakes this March Break. The libraries have many special events planned and there’s additional skating times added to most arenas. See below for a full list of programming.
February 21, 2017 - Load weight will be restricted on most secondary roads throughout the City effective immediately. Road conditions will be continually monitored and the restriction will be lifted when road conditions merit.
February 20, 2017 - The Kawartha Lakes Arts and Heritage Trail has been created to increase tourism and highlight Kawartha Lakes' rich cultural heritage and diverse artistic talent. The trail is made up of 24 stops including museums, historic sites, artist's studios and galleries located throughout Kawartha Lakes. Each stop on the trail is clearly marked with a roadside Arts and Heritage Trail sign.
February 17, 2017 - Lindsay Transit has added an additional bus stop to the Blue route to safely accommodate passengers.
February 17, 2017 - After investigating a fire that potentially could have destroyed a family home, Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue Service is asking residents to check their Home Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) air exchangers. Affected units appear to still be in operation across Canada. These units can fail and pose a fire hazard.
