Mulch Blade Subsidy Program

The City is subsidizing the cost of mulching blades. By mulching your grass clippings and leaving them on the lawn you will save on fertilizer, reduce watering frequency and save space in our landfills.
The mulching blade subsidy program is only offered for residential lawn mowers. If your riding lawn tractor is a commercially rated unit (usually a 48” cut or larger), mulching blades are not available under the mulching blade subsidy program.
Although every effort is made to provide a mulching blade to residents, mulching blades may not be available for all makes and models. Check with participating retailers.
You can purchase the blade and install it yourself or have the blade installed at the designated locations listed below.
