Burn ban lifted and residents encouraged to use caution when burning

April 29, 2016 - Today Fire Rescue Service has lifted the burn ban that has been effect for the month of April across the municipality. Residents are being asked to use caution when burning, stay with fires and make sure that they are fully out before leaving the area.

The fire index rating remains at the High level.

City of Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue Service would like to thank the residents for their care and patience during the annual April Burn Ban.
