April 21, 2016 - Please be advised that wpd Sumac Ridge Wind Farm has provided the City with notice that it intends to clear trees in and around Wild Turkey Road, commencing on Saturday, April 23, 2016.

This tree clearing is authorized pursuant to a development agreement executed between wpd and the City as required by the Divisional Court decision (court file 37/15). The City has appealed the decision of the Divisional Court. The Court of Appeal will hear the appeal in early May.

The City has been provided with compensation for tree removal and, if successful at the Court of Appeal, will be entitled to restrict access.
