Concerts in the Park 2010 - Only a few spots left!
January 29, 2010 - This is a great opportunity for neighbours to meet, interact and develop community spirit while enjoying and supporting local talent. There are only a few spots left for local bands to participate.
Concerts in the Park, is sponsored by a number of local businesses and will now be celebrating over 20 years of providing the community with exciting musical performances. Concerts in the Park is held at the Frank Banks Gazebo in Victoria Park, Lindsay. The concerts are scheduled to run Wednesdays from 7-9 p.m. and Sundays from 2-4 p.m. starting July 5th until August 30th, with the exception of Sunday July 19th. New this year concerts will also be held in Fenelon Falls at the Gazebo in Garnet Graham Park every other Friday from 7-9 pm.
Space is filling up quickly, there are only a few spots left. Anyone interested in performing in the 2010 series is asked to contact Alison McGahey, Community Development Coordinator at amcgahey@city.kawarthalakes.on.ca or 324-9411 ext. 1306. Slots are now being filled on a first come, first serve basis for the upcoming season.
