Family Day activities abound at Kawartha Lakes Public Library

February 9, 2016 - There is fun for the whole family at Kawartha Lakes Public Library branches on Family Day, Monday, February 15.

Nothing is more valuable to families than the time they spend together, and on Family Day the City’s library branches want to help bring families together.

“We will be open on Family Day to allow children, parents and families to enjoy the many services we offer through our library branches,” said South Area Supervisor, Diane Lansdell. “We invite families to visit their local library and read stories as well as borrow books, magazines, music, or movies. It’s a chance for the whole family to discover something new together.”

The following libraries will be open on Monday, February 15 during their regularly scheduled hours: Bethany, Bobcaygeon, Burnt River, Carden, Coboconk, Dalton, Kirkfield, Lindsay, Little Britain, and Woodville. Call the library or visit our website for opening hours.

Special Family Day programs will be held at the Bobcaygeon, Coboconk and Lindsay branches.

Bobcaygeon Family Day Drop-In Crafts between 12:30p.m. & 7p.m.

Coboconk Stories and Crafts at 11a.m.

Lindsay Board games, card games, LEGO, crafts, stories, AnkiDrive cars and much more.
