Road Closures Due to Northwest Trunk Construction
Cheese Factory Road has been reopened but has a reduced speed limit on it until the spring.
On May 18, 2012, Victoria Avenue (from Peel St. to Kent St.) will be closed from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for the "Paramedics in the Park" EMS barbecue.
On May 21, 2012, Highway 7A will be closed from Davis Street to Wilson Street from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for the Bethany Victoria Day Parade.
On May 26, 2012, sections of Eldon Road, Ranch Road, Valentia Road, and Zion Road will be closed for the Trish's Wish Walkathon.
On May 27, 2012, Kent Street will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the Lindsay B.I.A. Charity Road Hockey Tournament.
On May 31, 2012, several roads in Lindsay will be closed throughout the day for the Lindsay LipDub event. (See attached Road Closure Map PDF for details.)
On June 10, 2012, Victoria Avenue, between Peel Street and Kent Street, will be closed from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the Lindsay Road Hockey Tournament.
On June 24, 2012, Auk Trail and Angeline Street will be closed from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. for the Lindsay Kids of Steel Triathlon.
On June 30, 2012, Colborne Street will be closed from the ball park to the Canadian Tire parking lot on Lindsay Street in Fenelon Falls, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:15 p.m. for the Fenelon Falls Baptist Church Classic Car Cruise.
On July 15, 2012, the Classic Cars on Kent Car Show will result in the following road closures, from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.:

On July 15, 2012, the Brits in the Park Car Show will result in Victoria Avenue (both sides) from Kent Street to Peel Street (and the parking lot located at #4 Victoria Avenue N.) to be closed from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
On July 22, 2012, sections of Adelaide Street N. and S., Albert Street N. and S., Angeline Street N., Champlain Blvd., Victoria Rail Trail, and Pottinger Street, will be closed for the 5k and 10k Lindsay Milk Run.
Kent Street East will be closed from Lindsay St. to Huron St. from 12:00 p.m. on August 16, 2012, until 7:00 p.m. on August 19, 2012 for Ribfest.
On September 1, 2012, Hwy. 48 Portage Road will be closed from Rockview to Hartley Road from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the Kirkfield Festival Parade.
