Parks, Recreation & Culture Launches Adopt-a-Trail Program
April 26, 2012 - The City of Kawartha Lakes Parks, Recreation & Culture Division recently unveiled their Adopt-a-Trail program; this program has been established as a public service program for volunteers to help ensure a clean and safe trail network throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes.

Public meeting on regulating tow truck industry
April 24, 2012 - The City of Kawartha Lakes Licensing Division will be holding a public meeting to look at the feasibility of licensing and regulating tow truck companies and drivers within the municipality. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 15th from 5 – 7:30pm in the Victoria Room, City Hall at 26 Francis St. in Lindsay.

April 17, 2012 - The elevator in the Lindsay Library Branch of the City of Kawartha Lakes Public Library will be out of order commencing on Saturday, April 21st through to Friday April 27th in order to allow for the installation of accessibility upgrades.
