City awarded 5 Blooms
November 1, 2010 - The City of Kawartha Lakes has once again achieved a 5 Bloom rating in the National Communities of Bloom program and posted a final score of 88.45% for second place in the 50,001 – 150,000 population category.

November 1, 2010 - Public Access Defibrillators (PADs) have been placed in the Lindsay and District Chamber of Commerce, the Bobcaygeon & Area Chamber of Commerce and the Fenelon Falls Chamber of Commerce by the Mikey Network.
