Concerts in the Park Series wraps up
August 24, 2011 - As the summer wraps up so does the City of Kawartha Lakes Parks, Recreation & Culture Division’s annual Concerts in the Park series. It is not too late to catch the final performance for the 2011 series which will take place on Wednesday, August 31st at 7:00 pm in Victoria Park in Lindsay featuring new comers, Crooked Furrow, who will be performing Celtic, Classic Rock and Country tunes.
City to explore options for Victoria Manor management

Yoga with Karyn returning for fall
August 23, 2011 - Starting in September there will be five new yoga classes offered by Karyn Dowdall in partnership with Parks, Recreation and Culture with the City of Kawartha Lakes. Classes will be held at the Victoria Park Armoury in Lindsay and are open to all ages, genders, fitness levels, and abilities. Classes are designed for families, beginners, athletes, experienced yogis, and combinations of all abilities.
Waste and Recycling Contract
August 11, 2011 - At its meeting of July 26, 2011 City of Kawartha Lakes Council approved the selection of Miller Waste Systems Inc. for the award of the waste and recyclables collection contract and instructed staff to negotiate a best and final offer to execute an agreement with the company.
