Statement regarding negotations
June 12, 2012 - The City of Kawartha Lakes has been in collective bargaining with CUPE Local 855, the union representing our 430 inside and outside workers for the last seven months. In this time, we have worked hard to achieve a negotiated agreement with our employees to best serve our taxpayers, residents and businesses.
Fenelon Falls Business Retention and Expansion Project Results Presented
June 12, 2012 - On Thursday June 7th approximately 80 members of the Fenelon Falls Community and business owners gathered at the Fenelon Falls Seniors Centre for an update on the Integrated Community Sustainability Plan, Secondary Land Use Plans and the Business Retention and Expansion Project.

June 11, 2012 - Construction on McLaughlin Road in Lindsay will be continuing this week as part of the Northwest Trunk project.
Concerts in the Park Series 2012 Schedule Announced
June 7, 2012 - The 21st Annual Concerts in the Park series is set to go and series brochures are now available. These free community Concerts take place every Wednesday evening from 7:00pm-9:00pm and Sunday afternoon from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the Frank Banks Gazebo in Victoria Park, downtown Lindsay.
Early registration for the Lindsay Milk Run coming to a close
June 7, 2012 - Are you ready to run? The 34th Annual Lindsay Milk Run is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 22nd, 2012. Register today and take advantage of early registration pricing, early registration ends Friday, June 29th at 4:00pm after this point entry fees will increase. The first 400 registered participants will receive a technical t shirt.
Victoria Ave. / Durham St. Road Re-Construction Project Update
June 5, 2012 - The City of Kawartha Lakes is undertaking a Water, Sanitary and Road Re-Construction project on Victoria Avenue between Russell Street and Durham Street and on Durham Street between Albert Street and Cambridge Street. The project will commence on Monday June 4, 2012 and is scheduled for completion on November 30, 2012 (weather permitting).
Road Closure - Dew Drop Inn Road
June 5, 2012 - Dew Drop Inn Road will be closed June 6th from 9am until approximately 2pm for a centre line culvert removal and replacement. The road will be closed at Opmar Road to the west & Elm Tree Road to the east.
