Phase One Water Restrictions partially lifted in Kawartha Lakes

August 29, 2016 - The City of Kawartha Lakes, Water and Wastewater Division wishes to inform residents that Phase One Water Restrictions as per By-Law 2011-260 have been rescinded for the following Municipal Drinking Water Systems ONLY based on supply storage and recent water level data:

Fenelon Falls

Southview Estates

All other City Municipal Drinking Water Systems remain on a Phase One Water Restriction until further notice.

Although the City has formally rescinded water restriction measures, residents are still encouraged to conserve water by reducing non-essential uses since the Kawartha Conservation’s watershed still remains at a Level II Low Water Condition throughout the City.
