April 29, 2015 - Members of the public are invited to attend a meeting on the City’s proposed watermain replacement on Colborne Street East from Verulam Road (#36) to St. Patrick Street in Lindsay.

The open house is scheduled for Thursday, May 7 in the Victoria Room at City Hall, 26 Francis Street in Lindsay.

The public is invited to drop in between 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to view the details of the proposed work and ask questions of staff and engineers.

“The public will get an overview of the project which includes watermain replacement, new water service connections to property lines, sanitary sewer repairs and site restoration,” explained Amber Hayter, Senior Engineering Technician.

Plans showing the proposed construction will be available for public viewing during the open house.

“We want to be able to provide as much information to the public as possible and this open house will be a great opportunity for residents, business owners and the public to get information about this project and provide their comments,” Ms. Hayter added.
