Roads closed for Milk Run on Sunday July 17 in Lindsay

July 11, 2016 - The 38th Annual Lindsay Milk Run 5k/10k is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 17, starting and finishing at the Lindsay Recreation Complex. The 10k will start at 8:00 am, with the 5k beginning at 8:20 am.

A number of roads throughout the town of Lindsay will be closed or experience delays from 8:00 am - 10:00 am for the safety of over 500 runners during this event.  Some of the traffic affected will include Mary Street West, Albert Street, Pottinger Street, Angeline Street North, Springdale Gardens, Elgin Street and Adelaide Street.  To view the complete event routes visit www.city.kawarthalakes.on.ca/milkrun.

Organizers are also encouraging residents living along the routes to join in the fun by cheering on participants from the curb.

Pre-registration for the Lindsay Milk Run ends on Wednesday, July 13 at 4:00 pm. After this time no further registrations will be taken until race day at 6:30 am (space permitting). To learn more or register please visit www.raceroster.com/7621.
