Sparky drops the puck
January 27, 2010 - On Friday, February 5 at 7:30 p.m. Sparky the Fire Dog will be dropping the puck at centre ice at the Lindsay Recreation Complex for a ceremonial face off between the Lindsay Muskies and the Hamilton Redwings.
Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue will be on site to hand out fire safety information, free gifts for the children and fire safety messages will be broadcast during the game. People can also get an up-close look at the fire trucks and ambulance, and there will be displays of firefighter equipment and the EMS booth.
Sparky will lace up his skates to toss mini Sparky dolls up to the fans during intermission.
