TD Summer Reading Club at Kawartha Lakes Public Libraries

June 2, 2017 - TD Summer Reading Club is Canada's biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, all interests, and all abilities. This free program is co-created and delivered by 2,000 public libraries across Canada. It celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators and stories and is designed to inspire kids to explore the fun of reading.

Kawartha Lakes Public Library branches are all taking part in this national program and children are invited to join at their local branch and take part in all the events and activities planned especially for them.

"Get Your Summer Read On" is the official registration "kick off" day for the TD Summer Reading Club across Canada. Visit your local library on Saturday June 17 and register for the TD Summer Reading Club and your name will be entered in the draw for prizes. You will receive your summer reading kit and information about library events taking place throughout Kawartha Lakes.

Be amazed by the magic of Brad Toulouse, meet baby farm animals from Woolley Wonderland Farm, learn drumming rhythms with Rhythmic by Nature, laugh along with Tim the Puppet Tamer, sing along with Erik Traplin, learn more about reptiles from Scales Nature Park, enjoy crafts, games, stories and much more.

Visit the Library's website at www.kawarthalakeslibrary.ca and view the Calendar of Events for more information.
