Employment related activities that participants can attend include basic education and upgrading, job specific skills training, volunteer work, job search support services, work placements, job searching or almost any activity that will increase future employment opportunities. Social Services also partners with a number of other community agencies to deliver programs and supports. There are almost limitless opportunities available to participants.
There are a number of employment related benefits that can be issued to assist with job search and participation activities. Benefits can include things like child care, transportation, clothing, school supplies, safety equipment, grooming supplies etc. There are also specific benefits that can be provided when participants do find work to help get started.
