Library Board

The City of Kawartha Lakes Public Library Board is appointed by City Council and operates under the Public Libraries Act R.S.O. 1990, c. P.44.

The City of Kawartha Lakes Public Library Board is comprised of seven members; three councillors and four citizens.

The board term is concurrent with the City council term of four years. The Board meets once a month throughout the year at the Lindsay Library Meeting Room. Meetings are generally held at 5:00 pm on the first Thursday of the month. Meetings are open to the public.
