Programming Needs Assessment Survey

The City of Kawartha Lakes Parks, Recreation & Culture Division recently conducted a Programming Needs Assessment to investigate the recreation programming needs within the City of Kawartha Lakes. The purpose of the survey was to provide staff with greater insight into:

• The barriers to recreation program participation
• Program and service expectations
• Recommendations for future recreation programming
• Current leisure activities and interests of residents
• The level of awareness of recreation programs and Division initiatives

The information taken from the Programming Needs Assessment will supply staff with an increased understanding of the future needs of community members of all ages as well as the types of programs and events of interest to all residents.
