Drop In Badminton
Grab your racquet and drop in some fun and exercise playing recreational badminton. All levels of play are welcome in this relaxed environment. Pre-registration not required. Courts are set up on the main floor at the Victoria Park Armoury, shuttles provided. Cancellations do occur please confirm schedule for dates – www.city.kawarthalakes.on.ca/recprograms
Weekday: Tuesday 10:30am-12:00pm $3.15 per play

Hiking for Health, Fitness and Fun
Stay active, make some new friends, and discover the many benefits of walking! This program includes guided weekly Tuesday and a consultation with Hike Ontario certified Hike Leader Phil Lapenna. Hikes start at 5km in length working your way up to 12 km by the end of the program. Please note this is a rain or shine program, dress appropriately for the weather. 12 Weeks. Meet at the gazebo in Victoria Park

Yoga Fit with Karyn
Yoga for everyone! This yoga class is designed for overall wellness, weight-loss and balanced fitness. Whatever your fitness level you will be able to challenge yourself with this class. No class May 21. Victoria Park Armoury North End Room. 12 weeks.

Run-Walk Yoga with Karyn
Start your day with the perfect combination of cardio-yoga! Classes include 45 minutes of walking, walk/run, or running outside, and 45 minutes of yoga (Armoury main floor) to help you recover, get grounded and begin your day feeling fabulous. Victoria Park Armoury Main Floor and outside. 12 weeks.

March Break Camp
Join our camp leaders for a week of skating, swimming and a whole lot of fun at the Lindsay Recreation Complex. This camp will keep the kids busy with sports, games, crafts and more. Camp runs daily from 8:00-4:30 pm. Extended hours are available from 4:30-5:30 for an additional fee.

HIGH FIVE: Principles in Healthy Childhood Development
This one day course is ideal for those involved as a leader, coach or volunteer with children in sport and recreation programs. The course will focus on the principles of healthy child development and how to apply those principles to program leadership and program planning. Materials and tools will enhance and support knowledge of quality recreation programs. Upon successful completion of the program participants will receive a certificate in training from HIGH FIVE. A great addition to your resume! A must for all Parks, Recreation and Culture Camp staff. All program materials are included. Lunch is not provided.
