Jason Maxwell

New to the Series, Jason Maxwell is a singer-songwriter and recording artist from Thornhill. Jason had the opportunity to open for Juno-nominee and Boots & Hearts regular Chad Brownlee and he hasn't looked back since. Passport has been performing for almost 25 years throughout Ontario and Manitoba. Founding member Gord Miller (Vocals/Guitar) is joined by long-time musical partner John Woodhouse (Vocals/Bass), Bob May (Guitar/Vocals), and Adam Woodhouse (Drums).

Passport’s longevity has always been a result of two simple things - a love for great rock and roll, and a love for sharing it with their audience.

After many hundreds of performances, Passport still delivers the goods with great tunes by artists such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp, Creedence, and many others.

The Maevens

Originally a Toronto based Folk-Rock band formed in 2004, influenced by artists such as Kathleen Edwards, Lucinda Williams and Sarah Harmer, lead singer/songwriter and guitarist Kelly Burrows moved back to the Kawartha Lakes in 2008. The band continued to play for a few years and took a hiatus to raise families and pursue individual musical projects. Recently, the band reunited and is composed of members Jason Lapidus (Bass/Vocals), Myke Mazzei (Lead Guitar/Vocals) and Graydon James (Drums/Vocals). The Maevens have played in a variety of formations over the past several years and delight audiences everywhere they play with their earthy and thoughtful originals and crowd pleasing covers. The Usual Suspects are a local band who play Rock & Roll and Classic/Southern Rock from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s from bands like, The Band, The Hollies, Bruce Springsteen and The Beatles.  The band is comprised of J.C. Gambridge (Lead Vocals/Guitar/Harp), Gary Rivet (Guitar/Vocals), Richard Wood (Bass Guitar/Vocals) and Rick Warren (Drums).

Justus 2.0 is a band of seasoned local musicians from the Lindsay and Peterborough areas. Featuring Kathy Vandersanden and Randy Hill (Lead Vocals), Bill Brown (Lead Guitar), Rick Warren (Drums), and Joe Hiddink (Bass). Performing a wide variety of music from the Beatles, Everly Brothers to Blue Rodeo and more modern country and rock. It is always a good time at a Justus 2.0 show.

Emily Erhart is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Lindsay. A recent graduate from  LCVI, Emily has performed at a variety of venues including, Sounds on the Street, Boiling Over events and the Peterborough Live Music Festival to name a few. Her distinct sound is influenced from the Lumineers, Coldplay, Birdy, Vance Joy and City and Colour.

The REACHERS are a Lindsay based band, consisting of members of CMHA HKPR’s REACH for Recovery Centre. The band showcases their musical talent; defies stigma associated with mental health challenges and instills hope for recovery. The REACHERS perform original songs along with a wide variety of music, from classics like CCR and Jimi Hendrix, to more modern rock like The Glorious Sons and The Lumineers.

Present Tense

Present Tense, as the name suggests, is a group of guys just living in the moment. They are forty-ish, professional, family guys living in Peterborough and having a great time doing covers of their favorite hard rock, classic rock, grunge and metal tunes. They've been playing gigs, parties, and music festivals in the Peterborough area for the last few years. The band members are Joe Mahony (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Ed Segura on (Lead Guitar), Chris Gould (Bass Guitar) and Grant Roberts (Drums).
