The General Operations Division is charged with maintaining the municipality’s public works infrastructure not specifically under the purview of the Environmental Services Division. This includes roads, bridges, sidewalks etc.
The Municipal Act 2001, Regulation 239/02 stipulates minimum roadway maintenance standards for Ontario’s municipalities to meet. Residents that have any concerns or complaints with respect to operations should contact their nearest municipal service centre.
