Emergencies

The City of Kawartha Lakes may at any time experience an emergency where extraordinary measures are required to protect the health, safety, property, and welfare of residents due to an imminent danger or disaster.  The Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act requires municipalities in Ontario to develop a Municipal Emergency Management Plan.  You may browse our Emergency Management and Preparedness section for more details.
