NWT Construction Update #2

See update number 1 for descriptions of the various contract locations
- Construction has started by the “North Rock Group” on Contract 4 with silt fencing and topsoil stripping on the lands North of Colborne Street West. They are also engaged in preparing the Sewage Pumping Station site for placement of fill to desired elevations.
- The “North Rock Group” was the successful bidder for Contract 3 and work on that component will be done simultaneously with Contract 4. Preparation for commencement is underway.
- Louis W Bray Construction Ltd has been awarded the work for Contract 2. Work is scheduled to commence in the very near future.
Our contractors have obligations to maintain reasonable access to property and to communicate appropriately with adjacent residences and businesses.
Letters are planned to adjacent property owners to advise of third party preconstruction surveys.
Update No 1 provided information on reporting after hours emergencies
