LIMO Specialized Transit
The LIMO has been part of Lindsay Transit since 1979. On January 2nd, 2013, we are introducing a second vehicle, extending the hours of service and changing our name to LIMO Specialized Transit. LIMO Specialized Transit is a shared door to door public transit service for people with physical and /or functional disabilities who are unable to use conventional public transit. These exciting changes are designed to accommodate more ridership, allow greater access to service providers in Lindsay and to provide service to those with a documented need.
This service has a two part application process where potential customers complete an information section (section A) and a health care professional completes and ability section (section B). Completed applications must be forwarded by mail or fax to the Limo Specialized Transit office (see address and fax number on back of application)

“The increase in Lindsay Transit driver hours has significantly improved the ability for me to secure rides for the times I request. Now that winter is fully entrenched I am solely dependent on the Limo to get about. I can’t even imagine how wonderful things will be once the new Limo arrives.
Without the Limo Transit I would be completely housebound all winter.
I want to acknowledge all your drivers and front line staff for the wonderful attitude they all have toward their work. They are always cheerful and helpful and represent Lindsay Transit impeccably.”
