The City is proud of our special programs. Examples of those are chaplaincy three days per week, physiotherapy four days a week, dietician services twice a week, a specialized skin care team, a specialized palliative team, and a restorative staff member dedicated to each resident care team. All these lend to a higher quality of life for our residents. There is one bed dedicated to short stay, for care givers needing some respite. Also, the City provides a Secured Unit for persons with mental disabilities. Staff in this unit have special skills in dealing with dementia.
