Water Restrictions Lifted

The Phase One Water Restrictions imposed on municipal water systems this summer have been lifted. Phase One Water Restrictions had been in place for Birch Point/Highview Acres, Mariposa Estates, and Woodfield (Bethany) in accordance with By-law 2011-260 Section 22.02.

We are pleased to advise that the Phase Two Water Restriction has been lifted for residents of the Woodville municipal drinking water system, which has been in effect for a number of years, in accordance with  By-law 2011-260 Section 22.03.

Additionally the City of Kawartha Lakes would like to thank residents of Lindsay and Oakwood for their co-operation in voluntarily conserving water while maintenance was being undertaken at the Lindsay Water Treatment Plant. The repairs are now complete and the plant is operating under normal procedures.
